LOTS OF CLOUDS AND WINDY CONDITIONS AT BLUE HILL….

An ocean storm south of Nova Scotia has been retrograding a
bit sending a spoke of clouds and even a few flurries and
sprinkles to the area this morning into early this afternoon.

A gusty northwest wind has also been blowing across the
summit as the pressure gradient between the low to the
east and high pressure to the west increases. Gusts exceeding
40 mph have been observed. The average speed since 7 A.M.
has been around 16 mph.

Despite the clouds and occasional flurry/sprinkle, visibility
has been spectacular hanging at around 70 to 80 miles all day!

The high today so far today is 54F, this is 3 degree above
the normal high of 51F. The low since midnight is 41F, which
is 7 degrees above the daily normal low of 34F.
