CLOUDS AND LIGHT RAIN EARLY, THEN CLEARING WITH A SEASONABLE AFTERNOON….

We started the day with a lot of cloud cover and even a little
bit of light rain, mainly before sunrise. Rainfall overnight
amounted to only 0.05″, so it was nothing heavy.

Clouds broke and eventually cleared out as we progressed through
the morning hours with a very pleasant afternoon currently ongoing.

The only “complaint” today may be the wind which has been gusty at
times. This has added a bit of a chill to the air, especially in
shady areas. The average speed for the day has been around 12mph
with a peak gust of 35mph so far.

Visibility has been improving through the day as well, starting
off around 40-50 miles early this morning, and reaching 70 miles
early this afternoon.

The high so far today is 53F, which is 2 degrees above the normal
maximum of 51F. The low since midnight is 35F, which is 2 degrees
above the normal minimum of 33F.
