PLENTY OF SUNSHINE, WINDY, AND MILD THIS AFTERNOON AFTER A COLD
START THIS MORNING…

We started the day in the 20s early this morning as radiational
cooling was in full effect overnight thanks to clear skies and
light wind. However the temperature has rebounded nicely this
afternoon under abundant sunshine. Readings have reached the
low 50s.

The wind, which was light most of the morning, has increased
markedly this afternoon out of the south-southwest. Gusts of
30-40mph have been common, with a peak so far of 41mph. The
average speed for the day thus far is around 12mph, but its
currently on the increase.

Visibility has been excellent all day holding at around 70 miles.

The high temperature so far today is 51F, which is equal to the
normal maximum temperature for today of 51F. The low since
midnight is 28F, which is 5 degrees below our normal minimum
temperature of 33F.
