WARMER TEMPERATURES RETURN TO GREAT BLUE HILL
High pressure brought warm dry air to Great Blue Hill today.
The day started off mild with and above average overnight
low of 35F, average is 33F. The high for yesterday was a seasonable
53F. By 1pm today we have already reached and above average temperature
of 57F. Normal maximum temperature is 51F. As the temperature rose
the dew points fell into the low 20’s making for very dry air. The
dry air allowed for 70 miles of visibility with a distant haze at 1pm.
Winds were light and continued from the NW. Skies were overcast
with a layer of cirrostratus clouds remaining all day.
