WARMER AS SKIES BECOME CLEAR ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….

We observed a great 80 miles of visibility today after
starting with 5 miles this morning due to fog. Conditions
were almost clear for most of the day, and wind was light
and easterly off the water.

A thin smoke layer aloft is revealed after the morning fog burned
off, indicating some regional brush fires. No plumes were spotted
from the hill, however.

The high so far today is 76F, which is a degree above the
normal maximum of 75F. The low since midnight is 55F, which is
3 degrees below the normal minimum of 58F.
