WARM AND HUMID WITH PLENTY OF SUNSHINE TODAY….

We received 1.76″ of rain yesterday, with the majority of
the precipitation falling in the earlier half of the day.
This brings the total for the month at 4.44″ which is +1.13″
above normal.

Temperatures have rebounded almost dramatically since yesterday,
with our high so far at 79F, which is 10 degrees above average
for this time of year. Dew points have also been on the high
side, staying in the mid 60s throughout the day. It hasn’t felt
too sticky despite this, though it feels much more like a summer
day today.

The wind has been mostly out of the west today, though during
the late morning it shifted slightly out of the west-northwest.
The average speed for the day so far is around 11mph. The peak
gust is 23mph so far, which occurred before 09:00am this
morning.

Visibility hovered between 50-70 miles throughout the day, with
the best visibility occuring after 10am.

The maximum temperature so far today is 79F degrees, which is
10 degrees above the normal high of 69F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 63F degrees, which is 9 degrees above the
normal low of 52F.
