FAVORABLE CONDITIONS CONTINUE WITH SUNNY, CLEAR SKIES
AND COMFORTABLE FALL-LIKE VIBES ON BLUE HILL TODAY…

Today has been a gorgeous start to the month. The dry air has
remained giving us low dew points and relative humidity values
with slightly lower than average temperatures. It has been a
very refreshing day overall, with only a few cumulus clouds
dotting the crisp, blue skies.

The wind has been light all day, with winds coming from the
north this morning and shifting to the east. The average speed
for the day thus far has been around 8mph. The peak gust of the
day so far occurred shortly after midnight at around 17mph.

Visibility has remained in the 60-70 mile range throughout the
day, despite a thin layer of smoke that moved into our area early
this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today has been 73F, which is
5 degrees below the normal high of 78F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 52F, which is 8 degrees below the normal low
of 60F.

Through yesterday, Summer of 2023 (Jun-Aug) is now tied for
7th wettest on record going back to 1886. Here are the top 10
wettest summers as compiled by our Chief Scientist, Mike Iacono.

BHO Highest Summer (June-August) Precipitation, inches (1886-2023):
