Yesterday’s light rain turned to periods of moderate rain through
this morning and left us with 0.99 in. at the 7:00AM EST observation.
Light drizzle began again in the early afternoon, but only a trace
of precip. was measured at 1:00PM EST.
Winds shifted westerly and were gusting up to 38 MPH. Visibility had
improved to 40 miles in the late morning as thick fog cleared away but
fell to below 10 miles by 1:00PM. Temperatures rose to a max. of 51F
just before 7:00AM today and fell from there to today’s min. of 43F so
far.
