MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, COOLER TODAY….

Today started with clear conditions but by mid morning we
were under increasing clouds. The air has felt cooler today,
most likely due to drier air and a more northerly flow as
opposed to the southwesterly winds we have had over the past
few days.

Temperatures remain on the cooler side, though, with the morning
sun we saw a sharp increase in temperature. However, temps
have not been able to hit our normal of 58F, though we are close.
Dew points have held steady in the mid 40’s, providing that crisp
sky with excellent visibility.

The wind has been less active than previous days, with a more west-
north westerly flow for much of the day. The average speed for the
day so far is around 9mph, but will more than likely decrease as
the wind has been trending in that direction. The peak gust for
the day so far is 18mph, which occurred just before 12:30am.

Visibility has been nice today, with 60-70 miles throughout
the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 57F degrees, which is
1 degree below the normal high of 58F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 41F degrees, which is equal to the normal low.
