COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH, TEMPS DROP AS
WINDS GUST FROM THE NW

Following the passage of a cold front last yesterday
afternoon, temperatures dropped steadily overnight with
today’s maximum reading likely occurring near midnight.
Gusty winds from the NW have made already chilly conditions
feel colder with winds gusting regularly in the 30 MPH
range.

Excellent visibility has continued throughout the day, with
a station maximum of 90 miles observed at this morning’s
7:00 AM EST observation. By the 1:00 PM EST observation
skies were mostly cloudy with broken stratocumulus and
visibility of 75 miles in all directions. Temperatures
were holding steady in the mid 40s.
