A SPECTACULAR AUTUMN DAY ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….
Morning low of 44F was good for the lowest since May 29th,
2021 – marking our 2nd “step-down” as we cool off towards
the winter solstice. Since bottoming out there in the mid-40s,
we are experiencing a spectacular autumn day consisting of mostly
sunny skies, temps rebounding into the low-60s, dew points in
the mid-40s, and benign winds. If it can’t be any more spectacular,
visibility has been a stunning 80 miles since our first morning
observation!
The high so far today is 64F, 3 degrees below the normal
max of 67F. The low since midnight is 44F, 6 degrees below
the normal low of 50F.
