A PEAK OF SUN THIS MORNING FOLLOWED BY OVERCAST SKIES
AND AFTERNOON BREEZY CONDITIONS….

This morning featured plenty of blue sky and a beautiful red
sunrise. Clouds quickly moved in from the west around 8am and
we have been under overcast conditions for the remainder of
the day.

Temperatures were markedly warmer today, though without the
sunshine it has felt rather dull and gloomy. We are near the
expected normal, only 4 degrees away, and overnight temperatures
stayed above freezing last night. Dew point values have been
stable in the mid 30’s throughout the day.

The wind was light last night and into the early morning hours
with a flow out of the west-southwest. The wind shifted to the
south-southwest by day break and in the past couple of hours the
wind has been much more steady. The average speed for the day so
far is around 9mph. The peak gust for the day so far is 28mph,
which occurred at 12:44pm this afternoon.

Due to the hazy conditions that persisted all day, visibility
has been around 30 miles throughout the day.

The maximum temperature so far today is 44F degrees, which is
4 degrees below the normal high of 48F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 34F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the
normal low of 32F.
