MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES, BREEZY CONDITIONS, AND MILD TEMPERATURES
CONTINUE ON GREAT BLUE HILL TODAY…

We have had an overall beautiful day today on the hill with
mild temperatures and breezy conditions. Clouds have gradually
increased as the day progressed.

The temperatures are once again above average for the day, with
a high so far at 64F. Dew points have also been higher, hovering
in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. With cloudy conditions and gusty
winds, it felt overall comfortable.

Winds have been very active today, due to the increased pressure
gradient moving into our region. Our average for the day so far has
been about 14 mph. Our current peak gust has been about 33 mph,
which occurred just after our 1pm observation.

Visibility has steadily increased as the day went on. We had started
the day with a partial undercast and an average of 5 miles visibility
and then improved to 50 miles by the 1pm observation.

The maximum temperature so far today is 64F, which is 14 degrees
above the normal high of 50F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 43F, which is 9 degrees above the normal low of 34F.
