MORNING CLOUDS CLEAR OUT FOR A WARM START TO THE WEEKEND….
Today has been an overall decent spring day! This morning started
off with some clouds and by mid morning we had a clearing of the
sky that welcomed bright, warm sunshine.
Temperatures have rebounded quite nicely since yesterday. During
the early morning we were in the mid 50’s and by 1pm we were one
degree shy of the daily normal high. Dew points have been in the
low 50’s but in the comfortable 50’s, as the relative humidity has
been below 70% for most of the day.
The wind shifted late last night from the NNE and we were back to
ENE flow by morning. While not as gusty as yesterday, the wind has
still been rather productive, with an average of about 12 mph. The
peak gust so far for the day occurred just before 1pm at about
26 mph.
Although we have had abundant sunshine and lower humidity, the
visibility remained around 40 miles today, mostly due to the pollen
causing hazy conditions.
The maximum temperature so far today is 66F degrees, which is 1
degree below the normal high of 67F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 51F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the normal low of
49F.
