ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)

FINALLY, SUNSHINE RETURNS, BUT ONLY FOR A ONE DAY STAND!…

It’s nice to see the sun again after going most of this week
with very little. Skies have been mainly clear, except for some
stratocumulus hugging the coast and for some high thin cirrus
clouds encroaching from the south through west.

Temperatures are a little above normal early this afternoon with
readings into the mid 40s. However with a brisk wind and a dew
point in the upper 20s to near 30F, it feels a bit chillier than
it really is.

The wind has been on the brisk side most of the morning, but is
trending lighter into the early afternoon. The average speed so
far for the day has been around 13mph. The peak gust for
the day so far is 36mph, occurring right around 3:30am.

The maximum temperature so far today is 45F degrees, which is
3 degrees above the normal high of 42F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 32F degrees, which is 8 degrees above the normal
low of 24F.
