MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES MOVE IN, SUNNY WITH BLUSTERY
CONDITIONS….

Some precipitation moved into our area yesterday evening, giving
us 0.29 inches of rain and a trace of snow. This puts us above
average for the month in rain but still at a deficit for the season
in both rain and snow categories.

Temperatures dipped to 26F during the early morning today and we
have been able to recover to near normal temperatures of about
41F. Although we are in the normal range of temperature, it does
not feel like it with the strong gusty conditions. Wind chills
have kept us to about 32F or lower for much of the day.

The wind has been very strong today, which is to be expected as
this area has been under a wind advisory. With strong gusts of
40+ mph out of the WNW, we are holding at about 26 mph for an
average wind today! Our peak gust occurred this morning just after
9:30am at a speed of about 61 mph.

Visibility has hovered between 60-70 miles today thanks to low
dew points and mostly clear skies. Visibility was a little impacted
by virga in the afternoon hours.

The maximum temperature for today is 41F degrees, which is equal to
the normal high of 41F. The minimum temperature since midnight is 25
degrees, which is 1 degree above the normal low of 24F.
