With a steady pressure drop throughout the day, light rain
showers have occurred shortly before and following the
1 P.M. observation. Rain measured so far this afternoon
was only a trace. Wind stayed southwesterly and relatively
light, with an occasional gust above 20 mph. Despite the
overcast conditions, the aforementioned warm air advection
from the south have brought today’s temperatures above
seasonal averages. The high temperature so far today is
53F, 4 degrees above the daily normal maximum of 49F. The
low since midnight is 40F, 9 degrees above the normal low
of 31F.
