DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
FRIDAY, MARCH 28, 2014
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
A HUMID, WINDY DAY ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL, WITH
RAIN ON THE WAY
Following yesterday’s brilliant sunshine, this morning
began much more spring like than earlier this week. The
overnight low of 32.0 F was first time we had remained
above the freezing mark for a 24-hr period in more than
a week. For this late in the month a low of 32F is only
1 degree away from the 30-year normal low.
Showers have remained largely to our west today, though
an abundance of low level moisture has allowed thin fog
to remain in place obscuring visibility to less than 30
miles for the majority of the day. By 1:00 PM EST
temperatures had climbed to a maximum of 57F.
