SUN POKES THROUGH THE CLOUDS AFTER AN OVERCAST MORNING…

The sun made an appearance this afternoon after being hidden
by a layer of overcast cirrostratus all morning. Humidity
dropped throughout the day greatly increasing visibility from
40 miles with a distant fog at 7:00 A.M. to 80 miles by 1:00 P.M.

Short-lived showers moved through the area yesterday afternoon
leaving 0.01 inches of liquid precipitation behind. Overnight
the wind shifted direction from WSW to WNW bringing cooler
temperatures to the hill compared to yesterday. Although
temperatures are slightly cooler than yesterday they are
still above normal. The low since midnight is 39F, this is
10 degrees above the normal low of 29F. The high so far today
is 52F, which is 5 degrees above the normal high of 47F.
