RAIN AND FOG OVERCOME THE HILL, MINOR IMPROVEMENT
INTO THE AFTERNOON…

After back-to-back days filled with sunshine, refreshing
dew points and pleasant overnight lows, we are now entering
the beginning stages of returning to “Triple H” weather.

A warm front lifted through the region this morning –
accompanied by fog and light rain. The gauge recorded
0.11″ at 7A. Temperature and dew point equalled one another
at 58F, with afternoon readings increasing slightly to
63F and 63F respectively. This has kept the summit
shrouded in fog.

Winds have been easing throughout the day, averaging 10 MPH
in the morning slipping to 7 MPH as the afternoon arrived.
High pressure continues to slowly push to the east and as it
does so, the flood gates are now open to hazy, hot, and humid
weather.

The high temperature so far today is 63F, this is 15 degrees
below the normal maximum of 78F. The low temperature so
far today is 58F, which is 2 degrees below the normal
minimum of 60F.
