FILTERED SUNSHINE WITH MORE SEASONABLE TEMPS TODAY…
This morning we were under mostly cloudy skies, which began to
clear during the mid morning. More upper level clouds moved in
during the early afternoon and a few cumulus clouds were observed,
thanks to some daytime heating.
Temperatures have been more seasonable today, and with dew points
in the lower 50’s, it’s been overall very comfortable outside.
Winds have been mostly out of the northwest today, and have been
significantly lighter than yesterday. Our average wind speed so far
today is only around 7mph. Our peak gust of 19mph occurred just
before 7:30am this morning.
Visibility has been once again limited due to the Canadian wildfire
smoke. Because of this, we have had hazy conditions all day. However,
because of the lower dew points we have managed to about 30 miles for
much of the day, whereas earlier in the week we were in the 10-20 mile
range.
The maximum temperature for today is 76F degrees, which is 1 degree
above the normal high of 75F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 59F degrees, which is 2 degrees above the normal low of 57F.
