SUNNY AND BREEZY WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES TODAY….

Today has been a beautiful day despite the cold temperatures
and gusty conditions. The day started with a few altocumulus
clouds out over the shore and then as the day progressed we
had a few more clouds move through to our west.

Temperatures have been slightly below normal today and the dew
points have remained below 15F, giving off a very crisp, dry
feel to the air.

The wind has been quite productive today, with winds out of the
northwest at an average speed around 15mph. The peak gust so far
has been around 36mph, occurring shortly before 1pm.

Visibility remained in the 50 mile range for most of the morning
and by the afternoon had improved slightly to 60 miles.

The maximum temperature so far today is 31F degrees, this is 5
degrees below the normal high of 36F. The minimum temperature
since midnight is 17F degrees, this is 3 degrees below the normal
low of 20F.
