OVERCAST SKIES AND COLD TEMPERATURES WITH LOW WINDS TODAY
ON BLUE HILL….

Today has been overcast with the sun only appearing dimly behind
the stratus clouds on occasion. Due to the cloudy conditions, the
temperatures have remained below normal, and have only slightly
risen from the 7am reading. The dew points have remained below 20F
which has given a very dry and cool feel to the air.

The wind has been much lighter than yesterday, with an average
speed of around 7mph. The peak gust so far today has been around
16mph, occurring just before 10am this morning.

Visibility has been in the 30 mile range today due to the hazy
conditions that persisted throughout the morning and afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 27F degrees, this is 7
degrees below the normal high of 34F. The minimum temperature
so far since midnight is 20F degrees, this is 2 degrees above
the normal low of 18F.
