CONSIDERABLE CLOUDINESS IN THE WAKE OF YESTERDAY’S RAINFALL…

While it’s fairly meager, we managed to squeeze out 0.09 inches
from yesterday’s disturbance. This was good enough to conclude
our 8-day dry streak. However, we continue to hold a precipitation
deficit on the month, which now stands at -1.41 inches.
Snowfall is below average for the year as well at -6.0 inches,
though running a 4.2 inch surplus on the season thanks
to that sizable winter storm in mid-December.

Today has featured very hazy conditions and filtered sunshine
at best. Max visibility so far is 20 miles. Temperatures remain
on the mild side once again with a low of just 32F and a high
so far of 40F. This will mark the 25th consecutive day above
average….one of the longest streaks on record here!

Winds have been uneventful over the past couple days.
Yesterday’s average speed was just 5.8 MPH!

The high temperature so far today is 40F, 7 degrees above the
daily normal maximum of 33F. The low since midnight is 32F,
15 degrees above the normal minimum of 17F.
