MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2025
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
SUNRISE: 0642E
SUNSET:  1716E

MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES TODAY, BLUSTERY AND DRY….

Today has featured crisp, blue skies and plenty of sunshine.
It is a bit misleading though, as we have been trending below
average temperatures throughout the day. The wind has been a
key player today, which has also kept the temperatures below
normal.

We started this morning at 23F which is still above the normal
low for this time of year. We have been slow to warm up, even
with the abundant sunshine. The gusty WNW flow has given us
wind chills that were in the single digits this morning and in
the upper teens during the afternoon.

The wind picked up last night around 7pm when we had a slight wind
shift from westerly flow to the WNW that continued throughout the
overnight and into today. There really hasn’t been a lull in the
wind either, with an impressive average speed of 20 mph. Though we
have had frequent gusts over the 40mph mark, our peak gust so far
for the day has been 50 mph, which occurred just after 10:30am.

Thanks to clear skies and single digit dew point values, we have had
some great visibility today. We have fluctuated between 60-70 miles
throughout the day.

The maximum temperature for today is 31F degrees, which is 6 degrees
below the normal high of 37F. The minimum temperature since midnight
is 23F degrees, which is 4 degrees above the normal low of 19F.
