RECORD BREAKING HIGH TEMPERATURE TODAY….

The temperature has reached a record breaking high of 60F
by 1:00 P.M. This temperature breaks the previous record
of 56F set back in 1909. With a mid-morning wind shift from
WSW-WNW temperatures have already begun to slowly decrease. If they
decrease slow enough overnight we have the potential to also
beat the high minimum record of 40F. The low so far today is 50F.

The wind picked up just before 9:00 A.M. and it has been a
gusty day on the hill with multiple gusts over 30 kts (35 MPH)
and a peak gust so far of 35 kts (40 MPH) at 12:24 P.M.

Humidity drastically dropped today from 85% to 47% increasing
Visibility from 30 miles with a thin fog layer at 7:00 A.M.
to 75 miles by the 1:00 P.M. observation.

The high so far today is 60F degrees, which is 24 degrees
above the normal maximum of 36F. The low since midnight is
50F degrees, which is 18 degrees above the normal minimum
of 32F.
