VERY WINDY WITH A DECENT AMOUNT OF RAIN ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….
We observed very windy and overcast conditions with light
rain and a limited visibility of 5 miles. Rain overnight
totaled 1.12 inches with an additional 0.36 inches falling
between 7 A.M. and 1 P.M. Wind is out of the southeast with
a speed of 30 mph on average with frequent gusts around 50 mph.
The highest gust so far today is 74 mph around 8 A.M.
We received some help in the rainfall department, with our
monthly surplus being raised to 1.06 inches. The annual
total is still 10.34 inches below normal.
The high so far today is 55F, which is 17 degrees above the
normal maximum of 38F. The low since midnight is 43F, which
is 20 degrees above the normal minimum of 23F.
