BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
FRIDAY, AUGUST 4, 2017
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

HAZY, WARM, AND HUMID FRIDAY ON TOP OF GREAT BLUE HILL

Some places in Massachusetts saw and overnight rain shower but
we stayed dry here on top of the hill. Light southerly winds have
brought warm and humid air today. We had a high of 84F by the 1:00 PM
observation. This is only slightly about the climatological normal of
81F. As the day warmed humidity dropped but a distant haze to the
WSW-WNW remained all day, limiting visibility to 20-30 miles.
