ANOTHER COMFORTABLE DAY WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND
PLENTY OF SUNSHINE TO WELCOME THE LONG WEEKEND….

Partly cloudy skies and below normal temperatures have been the
main takeaway with today’s observations. Dry conditions remain
in our area, keeping us just shy of 3 inches of total precipitation
for the month to date.

Temperatures overnight dipped into the upper 50’s and by the 1pm
final observation we had warmed to 73F. The dew points have been
slightly warmer than yesterday, but compared to earlier in the week
it is comfortable and enjoyable to be outdoors.

The wind has been mostly light today, with a slight breeze that
came through in the late morning hours. The average speed for the
day so far is around 7mph, with a nice east-north easterly flow
bringing cooler air to the area. The peak gust so far is 20mph,
which occurred just before 11:30am.

Visibility has remained in the 50-60 mile range throughout the
day. There was a thin layer of smoke in the W-NW-N quadrant this
morning, however, it did not impact the visibility.

The maximum temperature so far today is 73F, which is 5 degrees
below the normal high of 78F. The minimum temperature since
midnight is 56F, which is 5 degrees below the normal low of 61F.
