MAINLY SUNNY, WARM, AND BREEZY WITH LOWERING HUMIDITY…

Sunshine has been the theme today with clear skies this
morning becoming decorated with some fair weather cumulus
clouds this afternoon. Temperatures have warmed into the
upper 70s and low 80s across the area with a brisk westerly
wind helping to dry out the air.

As mentioned, the humidity level has been gradually easing
today with the dew point dropping from the mid 60s this
morning to the upper 50s early this afternoon.

The wind has been on the busy side with an average speed of
around 13mph and frequent gusts between 25-30mph. The peak
gust so far for the day is 36mph, occurring at 12:33pm.

Visibility has been gradually improving as the day moves on.
We started with 30 miles early this morning, but it’s now
around 50 miles early this afternoon.

The maximum temperature so far today is 78F, which is 3
degrees below the normal high of 81F. The minimum temperature
today is 63F, which is equal to the normal low of 63F.
