VERY BREEZY DAY WITH DRY AIR AND EXCELLENT VISIBILITY…

Wind speed has really picked up today, especially this afternoon,
since yesterday’s relatively calm wind day. So far we have had
multiple gusts over 35 kts (40 MPH) and a peak gusts of 39 kts
(45 MPH) just after 1:05 P.M.

The air today has been exceptionally dry with low humidity.
This allowed for excellent visibility of 75-85 miles at each
observation.

Temperatures continue to be above normal. Yesterday’s high of 62F
is 10 degrees above the daily normal of 52F. The high temperature
so far today is 58F which is 6 degrees above the normal maximum
temperature for today of 52F. The low since midnight is 46F, which
is 11 degrees above our normal minimum temperature of 35F.
