OVERCAST WITH PERIODS OF RAIN AND INCREASING
AFTERNOON WINDS….

Today has remained overcast, with light rain this morning
amounting to 0.03 inches. Fog has held visibility at an
average of 10 miles throughout the day, but has thickened
since the 1 P.M. observation. Wind has become stronger
this afternoon following a 5 millibar pressure decrease
between 7 A.M. and 1 P.M. The max gust so far today is
32 mph, seen shortly after noontime. The high so far
today is 47F, 13 degrees below the daily normal of 60F.
The low since midnight is 44F, 3 degrees above the
normal minimum of 41F.

The calendar day rainfall on Monday, 4/22, was more than
two and a half inches, which made it one of the wettest
calendar days ever observed in April. The finalized
amount for the day will be reported when available.
