ABUNDANT SUNSHINE DESPITE A GOOD AMOUNT OF
UPPER-LEVEL CLOUD COVER….
Visibility today is great compared to yesterday, with
a perfect visibility of 90 miles being seen at the
10 A.M. observation. Cloud cover has consisted of
either fair weather cumulus or cirrostratus, which
covered most of the sky by 1 P.M. Yesterday’s rainfall
totaled 0.21 inches, measured at 7 A.M. Conditions are
drying slightly, reaching 42% relative humidity by
noontime.
Wind has been around 15 mph for most of the day, advecting
a good amount of cold air from the west. Clouds moved in
fast since this morning, signifying strong upper level
winds. The high so far today is 41F, 5 degrees above the normal
high of 36F. The low since midnight is 30F, 11 degrees
above the normal low of 19F.
