HUMIDITY FINALLY EXITS THE REGION AS DRY AIR RETURNS
Dew points that have been stuck in the upper 60s and
low 70s since Friday have finally started to drop
as drier air and high pressure began to work into the
region this morning. Fog was present for the 7:00 AM EST
observation, but by 10:00 AM, fog had lifted and sunny
conditions were present.
By the 1:00 PM EST observation skies were mostly sunny
with improving visibility. Hazy conditions were still
in place; however, 40 miles in all directions could
been seen compared with this morning’s 3/4 of a mile.
Dew points had dropped to the lower 60s with a steady
wind from the W. A maximum temperature of 82F was
recorded at the same time as well.
