Skies that cleared quickly yesterday morning remained
clear overnight, allowing radiational cooling to take
place. A minimum temperature of 23F was reached between
5:00 and 6:00 AM EST this morning, before temperatures
slowly made their way above freezing by mid morning.
Yesterday’s calendar maximum of 40F and minimum of 25F
marks the coolest day for the month of November. Temperatures
for the month now average 5.2 degrees F for November.
By the 1:00 PM EST observation skies were mostly clear
with only a few cumulus and altocumulus visible in the
