A FAIR WEATHER DAY AMONGST PERSISTENT HIGH PRESSURE….

Today we observed almost clear skies, being overtaken
by a very thin cirrostratus layer around noontime.
Visibility has been great throughout the day, being
80 miles on average. Wind is northerly at less than
10 mph, gusting to less than 15 mph.

We continue to expand our rain and snowfall deficits for the
month. The rainfall total is 1.46 inches, 2.62 inches below
the average rain total. Snowfall for this month is considerably
low, amounting to only 4.2 inches. That is 11.9 inches below
the normal monthly snowfall total.

The high so far today is 31F, 3 degrees below the normal high
of 34F. The low since midnight is 16F, a degree below the
normal low of 17F.
