TEMPERATURES SOAR TO THE 50’S AFTER TWO VERY COLD DAYS
INCREASING SOUTH WIND GUSTS TO 30 TO 40 MPH

After two consecutive sub-freezing days with highs
of 32 degrees. the temperature was rising rapidly
today into the 50’s.  Both Friday and Saturday were
the two coldest days of the month and season to date
averaging in the 20’s and 11 and 12 degrees colder
than is average for the dates.

Two inches of snow which was on the ground after just
over 3 inches of snow last week had melted down to one
inch both yesterday and early today.  It will likely
be completely melted away by later today.

Some small amounts of ice formed on our nearby ponds
during the past couple of days
