OVERNIGHT….

Conditions today were almost clear save some offshore
cumulus. Visibility was 75 miles all day, and the wind was
around 10 mph from the NE. Pressure rose around 10 mb
overnight with the approach of a cold and dry air mass.
At this point, the region is looking for some rainfall,
as our annual rain total is only 5.75. This is -6.39
inches below the running total for the season.

Despite below freezing temperatures overnight, either
Houghton’s or Ponkapoag did not show any signs of freezing.
The overnight low was 23F, this is 5 degrees below the
normal low of 28F. The high so far today is 34F, 12 degrees
below the normal max of 46F.
