THE AFTERNOON….
We observed significant wind in comparison to
the last few days, with a peak gust so far of
35 mph. The highest visibility seen today was
80 miles at the 10 A.M. observation. Wind has
been northeasterly for the majority of the day,
resulting in a significant sea breeze. This has
kept temperatures well below seasonal averages.
The high so far today is 66F, 12 degrees below
the daily normal maximum of 78F. The low since
midnight is 57F, 7 degrees below the average daily
minimum of 61F.
