HAZE AND WARMTH PERSIST ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL…

Throw in another red square on the calendar for November!
Today’s high temperature so far is 62F with a low of just
46F. This calculates to be an average of 54F, which is more
typical of early October!

The unusual warmth has been accompanied by limited visibility-
only topping out at 45 miles. The sun has struggled to find gaps
in the cloudiness. That said, most of the sky is painted by thin
high cirrus resulting in a good deal of filtered sunshine.

With most of the month behind us, we find ourselves sitting
at +5.5F departure thus far. This is on pace for one of the
warmest Novembers on record dating back 1885. We will see how
the remainder of the month goes!

The high so far today is 62F, 14 degrees above the daily
normal high of 48F. The low since midnight 46F, 14 degrees
above the normal low of 32F. Guidance indicates, however,
that we will slip back in the 30s overnight as high pressure
approaches to our north.
