THUNDERSTORMS….

Today we measured 0.10 inches of rain that fell yesterday
afternoon. Visibility has been 80 miles since this morning,
but is obscured by distant rainfall. Towering cumulus have
been observed following the 10 A.M. observation, and
lightning was seen to the southeast following noontime.
Wind has remained northwesterly, but has picked up since this
morning. The highest gust seen today of 30 mph occurred shortly
after 1 P.M. The high so far today is 77F, the same as the daily
maximum temperature. Our low since midnight was 56F, which
is 3 degrees below our normal minimum temperature of 59F.
