The weather was so unseasonably cool yesterday that the day
averaged ten degrees cooler than normal with a high of only 67F
and a low of 58F by late last evening.
Summer continues to take a backseat at the summit today. The
thermometer was down to 57 degrees early this morning and
only struggling into the low 60’s at mid-morning as winds have
retained an easterly component since the backdoor cold frontal
passage early Thursday.
Dense early morning fog was observed along with some light
drizzle for a second consecutive morning today.
