LOW CLOUDS AND CHILLY WITH AN INCREASING BREEZE
Other than a few small breaks to the east just after
sunrise, the sky has been cloudy all day today. The
clouds have continued to become lower into mid-afternoon
ahead of a band of rain expected tonight. Visibility was
as high as 30 miles early this morning, but it dropped
to just 8 miles by mid-day. Wind has been increasing
gusts approaching 30 kts by early afternoon. Also, the
pressure began falling more rapidly after the 1 PM
observation.
The high so far today is 41F, 7 degrees above the normal
high of 34F. The low since midnight is 35F, 18F degrees
above the normal low of 17F.
