MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

DAILY DISCUSSION AND CLIMATE SUMMARY
FRIDAY, JANUARY 24, 2020
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME

FILTERED SUNSHINE AND MILD TEMPERATURES
ATOP GREAT BLUE HILL….

We observed persistent haze throughout the day resulting
in a max visibility of only 35 miles. A light north-northeasterly
flow resulted in mild temperatures peaking so far at 43 degrees,
thus the snow depth fell to 1 inch by the 1PM observation.
Sunshine was radiant at times and obscured at others as mid and
high altitude clouds filtered in and out of our region.

The high so far today is 43F, 9 degrees above the normal
high of 34F. The low since midnight is 31F, 14F degrees above
the normal low of 17F.
