A BLUEBIRD DAY WITH LIGHT WESTERLY WINDS….

Today the observatory saw abundant sunshine with
slightly limited visibility in the morning hours
due to haze. However, visibility increased to
70 miles this afternoon from the 50 miles seen
earlier. Wind, though light, shifted southwest
after going calm around 9:30 A.M. Cloud cover
was negligible at best, with only a few clouds
being seen in the distance.

The high so far today is 33F, 1 degree below
the normal high of 34F. The low since midnight
is 13F, this is 4 degrees below the normal low
of 17F.
