WARMTH AND RAIN GIVE WAY TO COLD AND SNOW

The rain that started very early this morning came down moderately
for a time.  Over an inch of rain had fallen before the
precipitation mixed with and then changed over to snow and sleet.
No measurable accumulation was recorded.

By this afternoon’s 1:00 PM EST observation skies were overcast
once more after the rain and snow this morning. Temperatures and
dew points had crept up from their lows and were at 35 with 100%
humidity.
