BLUE HILL METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATORY
MILTON, MASSACHUSETTS
ELEVATION 635 FEET, 10 MILES SSW OF BOSTON, MA

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2021
ALL TIMES ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME
SUNRISE: 0521E
SUNSET:  1759E

A WINDY DAY WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND LIMITED
VISIBILITY….

We observed mostly cloudy skies, consisting of altocumulus
and cirrus clouds. Wind has been the main feature of the day,
reaching 32 mph and coming in at a consistent 18 mph from the
southwest.

Visibility is limited, only reaching 40 miles by the
1 P.M. observation. Conditions are on the hazy side.

The warm south westerly breeze is making it feel like
more of a summer day. Despite that, current temperatures
are in the mid 70’s which is normal for this time of year.

The high so far today is 79F, this is 5 degrees above the
daily normal maximum of 74F. The low so far today is 60F,
which is 3 degrees above the daily normal minimum of 57F.
