Blue Hill Observatory’s last chance to secure MA state funding

We urgently need your help to ensure that our educational programs and the longest climate record in the United State can be continued. Right now, we have a last chance to secure MA State Funding for Blue Hill Observatory. Please take a few minutes to advocate for us and this critical financial support.

The Joint Conference Committee has begun deliberations to reconcile differences between the House and Senate budgets. Blue Hill Observatory has a $50,000 line-item approved overwhelmingly by the House in budget (item 2810-0122), but nothing in the Senate budget.

Please click on the links below to email your local Senator and Representative and ask them to reach out to members of the Conference Committee with a request to include the House recommendation of $50,000 for
Blue Hill Observatory & Science Center in their final report.
