YET ANOTHER WARM AND HUMID NIGHT LAST NIGHT;
A LOW OF 70F THIS MORNING AND TODAY MAKES 12 DAYS OF 70-DEGREE MINIMUM
TEMPERATURES IF 70 DEGREES HOLDS THROUGH MIDNIGHT;
ALL BUT THREE DAYS HAVE ABOVE NORMAL MEANS;
FIRST BENEFICIAL RAINFALL OF THE MONTH YESTERDAY

The low temperature did not drop below 70 degrees again last night. We
will have 12 days with 70-degree minima this month if we don’t fall below
70 by midnight.

July continues to be a very warm month with only 3 days thus far having
below normal average temperatures.

Yesterday’s showers and thunderstorms brought 0.82 inch of rainfall, the
most in any one day since 1.27 inches way back on June 17th. Tuesday’s
0.82 inch became the first measurable rainfall since 0.08 inch fell on
July 13.
