FAIR WEATHER WITH UNUSUALLY COLD TEMPERATURES AND A BUSY
NORTHWEST WIND….

Following yesterday’s mild temperatures in the mid-50s, a cold
front swung through the area overnight leaving us with 0.27 inches
of rain, blustery NW winds, and colder than normal air. Nearly
clear skies were observed at 7:00 AM which quickly transitioned to
broken fair weather cumulus clouds by the 10:00 AM observation.
Visibility has remained 70+ miles throughout the day with the 3,165
foot peak of Mt. Monadnock in good view. Virga in the form of snow
showers were seen to our west at times. Max wind so far today is
35 MPH with average wind chill ranging from the upper-teens to
lower-twenties much of the day.

The high so far today is 36F, which is 17 degrees below the
normal of 53F. The low since midnight is 28F, which is 8
degrees below the normal minimum of 36F.
